Finally, most of our ChildHope schools will open the school year with in-person learning this February — and so many precious children are thrilled for the opportunity to go back to school …
- to learn about Jesus
- to feel the warmth of their teacher’s love
- to receive nutritious meals and books for learning
- to play with their friends
- to progress in their studies
- and experience hope for the future!

María (above left) just graduated from a ChildHope school in Ecuador Costa — where her sponsor has made a tremendous difference in her family’s life.
She shares, “The school and the church were the greatest influences in my life and family. It was there I began to know and understand more about God. My mother met God, too, was baptized, and soon began serving in the church. Because of that, everything changed in my home. There is peace and calm and everyone knows that God is the head of our family. I am very happy to belong to this great institution.”
And then there is Ciro (above right) — he is a thriving 7th grader at a ChildHope school in Bolivia. Ciro began attending our school in the 1st grade, thanks to the loving kindness of his sponsor. He accepted Christ into his heart that very first year in school and has continued to grow in faith and through prayer.
Ciro shares, “I am grateful to God for His infinite love and mercy towards me, to allow me to attend this school. I am also grateful to have a sponsor because he helps me in prayer and remembers to write me, encouraging me to keep going forward and wishing me many blessings.”
Each year we step out in faith and welcome new children without sponsorship into our schools … trusting that God will provide the sponsors. This year is no exception.
Right now, there are thousands of unsponsored children in our ChildHope-sponsored schools.
