“I walked too close to the edge, and fell into the sea …”

Eli was just 10 years old when he had a near-death experience. He was drowning! It was early in the morning, and no one was around.

As he struggled to keep his head above water, Eli cried out for help. And God provided! Miraculously, a man on a bicycle pulled Eli from the water and saved his life.

Today, at 17, Eli continues to thank the Lord for sparing his life. He works hard at his ChildHope-sponsored school and will soon graduate. Eli is grateful to his mother for her advice and love … and to his sponsor for helping him achieve his goals and dreams!
