2018 Easter Devotional — March 28

Hebrews 12:12-13 (click to view Scripture below)

It’s easy to get discouraged and tired as we go through the daily grind of life. The Apostle Paul challenges us to lift up our tired hands and weak knees and clear the way as we walk down this path called life. How can we do that? The Psalmist David told us that the Word of the Lord would be a lamp for our feet and a light for our path.

We know that it’s God’s Word that not only transforms the lives of the children who attend our ChildHope schools but will give them the strength to live in difficult circumstances and situations. As important as a quality education is, or a hot meal for their bellies, it’s the word of God that will give them the strength they need to not stumble as they go through life. In fact, we believe it is so important that we distributed 50,000 Bibles throughout Latin America in our schools, so these children would have this strength within their reach.

Today, let the Word of the Lord give you strength as you walk through your day.

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for the strength that your Word gives me for my everyday life. Help me to meditate on it. Show me how I may apply it to my life.
