Anabelle slept on the floor.

This precious little girl lived with her family in a shanty with no running water. Sewage flowed under the house. To make matters worse, Anabelle was sick. She was born with a heart problem that repressed her physical and intellectual development.

Anabelle desperately needed a friend like you. And by God’s grace, that’s exactly what she got!

A caring sponsor made it possible for her to attend the Linda Vista school in Costa Rica. The LACC Extreme Poverty Fund helped provide a better home for her family.

And today, Anabelle has personally experienced the wonderful healing hand of God! LACC friends, Pastor Ken Draughon and his wife Cyndi, were on a ministry trip to Costa Rica to help provide financial assistance in the desperately needed remodel of Anabelle’s home.

While there, they prayed for Anabelle’s healing….

At her last doctor’s appointment, Anabelle was told she no longer needed open heart surgery. Her doctors may be puzzled … but we are praising God for this miracle!

Because of a friend like you, Anabelle’s heart has been healed — physically and spiritually. She is happy. Learning. Hopeful for her future. And she is just one example of the many desperate children your generosity has eternally impacted!
